Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age
I can be very flexible in which bits of prehistory to cover and for how long. Here are some examples.
Stone Age half day: Try your hand at cave painting with real earth pigments, explore life at Skara Brae, handle replica artefacts and discover what Mesolithic people ate with the hunter-gatherer game.
Stone Age full day: As above, but with added prehumans and lots of extra hands on activities like wattle fence making and butter making.
Neolithic to Bronze Age half day: Daily activities in the neolithic era, Stonehenge, and Bronze Age crafts including a metal "gold" disc.
Bronze Age and Iron Age half day: Make a "gold" disc, experience the daily tasks of the time, and take part in the story of Mac Da Tho's pig!
Prehistory full day: a full day extravaganza from the Lascaux caves to first meeting the Romans - with the help of a classroom-sized string timeline.
The Ancient Mayans
Perform part of the Popul Vuh creation myth, play a real Mayan board game and learn how to dress like a king!

Votes for Women!
Did you know, in Elizabethan England there was one woman voter? From these early beginnings we swiftly move on to the setbacks of the nineteenth century and the campaigns of the twentieth. With cartoons, debate, games, music and drama, we explore the women (and men) who gave their energies and even their lives in the campaign for women's suffrage.

Life in a Medieval Castle
Medieval castles were the home and workplace not only for lords and ladies, but for hundreds of other men and women with their own jobs to do. For this workshop we concentrate on seven people - the lord and lady, guard, monk, cook, blacksmith and prisoner - and their lives, with the help of lots of objects and jaunty song! Students will also learn medieval manners and dances, and handle some of the gear of a medieval knight.
In-school workshop for key stage 1. £80 for a half-day session with a single class, £150 for a whole day (based on two half-day sessions).
